I graduated from The University of Leeds with a 2:1 BSc degree in Mathematics with Finance in June 2013 after completing my A Levels in my home town of Horncastle, Lincolnshire. I then went on to study for a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics at Bishop Grosseteste University Lincoln, graduating in 2014. Since then, I have been teaching Maths to 11-16 year olds for the last 2 years. During this time I have taught classes and tutored individuals of all abilities, helping many students to succeed in their GCSE Mathematics exams. As a respected teacher or Mathematics, I was also given extra responsibility as Numeracy Coordinator for my school, and so have directed staff and students on how skills in Maths can aid them in other subjects and aspects of their lives. I have recently taken some time away from the profession to travel to Asia and Australia, and have gained some valuable life skills and advice that I can pass on to students in addition to my expertise in Mathematics.
