To achieve a Merit : All Merit descriptors given below must be achieved
M1 – An effective approach to study and research has been applied in your understanding of implemented policies, legislation, regulations and codes of practice in significance to your own work in health and social care.
M2 – Following M1, you must show that you have used a range of source of information to around different psychological theories that underpin and govern health care practitioners working in health and social care setting.
M3 – In case study 1 you need to show that logical and coherent arguments on the importance of adhering to a person centred approach with service users are justified.
To achieve a Distinction, D1/2/3 must be met by your work:
D1 – Self-criticism has been generate and justify your conclusions on ethical dilemmas and conflict that may arise when providing care, support and protection to users of health and social care services.
D2 – Autonomy/independence has been demonstrated in preparing your portfolio on your work-experience own contribution to the development and implementation of health and social care organisational policy.
D3 – Creativity and interdependence has been reflected in self-evaluation of the impact of working partnership and differences in interpersonal working in safeguarding and protecting vulnerable adults

In this context the definition and scope of plagiarism are presented below:
Plagiarism is presenting somebody else’s work as your own, It includes copying information directly from the Web or books without referencing the material; submitting joint coursework as an individual effort; copying another student’s coursework; stealing coursework from another student and submitting it as your own work.
Collusion is working collaboratively with another learner to produce work that is submitted as the individual learners work
Suspected acts of plagiarism or collusion will be investigated and if found to have occurred will be dealt with according to the college procedure.
