Hospitality Contract And Event ManagementYou and your team (groups of 3 max) have been tendering for large scale corporate contracts in the Hospitality events sector. You are one of three businesses who have been shortlisted to potentially win a very big contract to provide hospitality services in a large company who owns Restaurants, Hotels and large event spaces.

To assess each of the tendering businesses’ knowledge and expertise of the industry, they now require your team to write up an overview of the sector and possible constraints and issues that could be encountered.

Should you be successful in your tender, you will need to write up a report discussing how you would deal with client relationships and financial processes (assignment 2).

 Submission Format

 This work must be submitted in the form of a sector review report, highlighting the key topics in the task sheet below. Your report must be between 3000-3500 words and include all the requirements of a report format. All research must be referenced according to the Harvard referencing System and must include a full complete bibliography.

This will include the different types of organisations, but also the different services on offer within events. Incorporate examples where possible.

2.2 discuss the type and level of service associated with a variety of eventsIdentify a variety of different events that could be facilitated and discuss services for at least 3 different event types. Some of this may be cross referenced with pc 1.1.
2.3 assess the health, safety and hygiene problems which can affect the operational success of an eventInvestigate and assess the potential health, safety and hygiene problems that may affect the success of an event.
2.4 consider how marketing, human resources and quality control are applied in the organisation and delivery of a successful eventIdentify the current issues that affect contracts and events in areas such as marketing, human resource, and quality control. This section could expand into other key areas where appropriate.
