Continuing Professional Development Assignment Help

As a Professional Electronic Engineer, I know I need to update myself continuously to survive in a technical field that is evolving at a rapid pace all over the world. I have tried to accomplish this objective by training myself and learning new things continuously.

My first achievement came only four months after graduation when my final year project received first prize in DICE (Digital Innovation Competition and Exhibition). DICE is a project competition held every year in which students from engineering universities all over Pakistan participate with their projects and are judged by leading Pakistani engineers and researchers. My project received first prize in DICE 2008 and I got a shield and twenty thousand rupees for presenting such an innovative project.

Right after that, I started my career by choosing to work at Clipsal Pakistan Pvt. Ltd which is a subsidiary of Schneider Electric, the world’s leading manufacturer of electricity distribution, energy management and automation products. At Clipsal, I worked on various building automation and energy management projects. I developed such a huge interest in this field that while working at Clipsal I completed two courses offered by the online Schneider Electric University. These courses containing eight modules on” Building Controls” and two modules of “Energy Efficiency with Building Automation” helped me immensely in learning about the very exciting field of building automation and energy management. I am currently also working on a research paper to calculate the amount of energy conserved by using a energy management system,

At the same time I learnt C-Bus Toolkit, Vt Pro-E,PICED and various software used for programming and configuring multimedia and building automation systems. I also learnt AutoCAD and MS Visio to present my design information in a more presentable way.

My interest with buildings led me to join Malik Textile Mills Electrical Distribution Project. Here I learnt about local and international standards pertaining to electrical and electronic systems. I studied NFPA and NEC standards to base my electrical distribution designs accordingly. This was my first exposure to standards and how they are used. I learnt to use DIALUX software to complete the lighting design of the mill.

I planned to complete my Masters abroad therefore I took the GRE scoring 1300 out of 1600 and TOEFL scoring 117 out of 120 but while working at Malik Textile Mills, I applied for Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) and achieved the highest marks in their recruitment test conducted all over Pakistan. Thus I was immediately selected and was sent to a six months training in the field of aviation at Civil Aviation Training Institute, Hyderabad. Here I trained on electronics equipments used in the field of aviation including RADARs, Radio Communication Transceivers and Navigational Aids and Voice Logging equipment.

Currently working as Electronic Engineer with the PCAA has been a great opportunity to enhance my skills. My main responsibilities include providing technical advice, repair and maintenance support for Digital Voice Logging Systems installed at all CAA airports and I am also involved in working with Safety Quality Management System (SQMS) team to ensure compliance with ICAO and ISO standards. Digital Voice Logging Systems is a Linux based networked system that is why I am also completing a Networking course being offered by the University of Washington through

I am a registered member of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and keep myself updated by reading the international MIT Technology Review and CNET to stay abreast with the latest development in both nanoelectronics and consumer electronics. I have also subscribed to the local Spider Magazine to keep me updated about the latest technology happenings of the country.

Moreover, I am also a member of which is an International discussion forum on electronic circuits, electronics design, service manuals and related subjects and I also frequently use the IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology) forums to seek help on any electronics or networking related issue.
