Atlas gym

Atlas gym is a fitness center located in the lake round of the city of Kandy.  Though it was established only recently, Atlas gym boasts an ample collection of ultra-modern fitness equipment and its staff is made up of qualified and experienced instructors. Anyone can become a member at Atlas provided they pay an annual membership fee of 20000 LKR.

The quality service provided by Atlas has drawn up a sizable clientele and its clerical staff finds it difficult to cope up with the record keeping. Atlas gym uses a manual paper based system to keep track of members, member appointments, payments, instructors and staff payroll.

As a move to increase its efficiency of record keeping, Atlas administration has decided to introduce a computer based information system. A phased development approach has been planned and the first phase will focus on member registrations and several related issues only.  Member payments, appointments, instructor details and staff payroll will be implemented in subsequent phases.
